A one-year award of up to £10,000 is being offered to enable medical researchers to supplement existing projects or for pump priming existing research ideas. The successful project must be specifically directed to the study of thyroid disorders or an investigation into the basic understanding of thyroid function. Funds will be awarded for consumables, running costs and necessary items of equipment. The closing date for receipt of applications is 31st August each year.
