By joining the British Thyroid Foundation you will help us to continue to provide you and others with information about thyroid disorders

For an annual membership fee we are able to provide you with:

• Information from Endocrinologists
articles by medical professionals on various aspects of thyroid disease
• Information from Patients
case histories written by the thyroid patient letters, questions and comments
• Friendship and contacts
Volunteers’ local group activities: informal discussions and specialists’ talks
• Contact Corner
puts you in touch with other people

There are two methods of payment of the annual fees:

Payment by cheque/postal order: £20 for full membership; £10 for student/unwaged/senior citizen

OR

Payment by standing order £17 for full membership; £8.50 for student/unwaged/senior citizen

Payment by standing order reduces our administration costs, and we can therefore offer a discount. If you are a taxpayer in Britain, completion of the gift aid declaration would allow us to recover an additional amount from the Inland Revenue at no extra cost to you. This can bring in a substantial amount each year, which will ultimately benefit those with thyroid disorders. Please note that membership fees count as a donation for the purpose of Gift Aid.

If you live overseas, please note that payment can only be accepted by Sterling bank draft drawn on a UK Bank. The annual fees are: £25 for overseas members in Europe and £30 for overseas members outside Europe .

Each introductory thyroid information leaflet costs 75p to print and post. Your membership fee helps to cover our running costs as well as providing invaluable financial support for our local groups, research awards, and BTF's future development.
