The role of local co-ordinator can take up quite a lot of spare time, especially in the early stages when you are first establishing a group. But it can also be a very social and rewarding experience and you can make lots of new friends along the way. Of course we will be here to help support you throughout the early stages and beyond. One of the problems of having a thyroid disorder is that it can make you feel quite ill, and it may take a little while to get back on your feet. It may be advisable to delay putting yourself in a role of supporting others at this stage.
If, however, you feel able and ready to help other people and if you feel that this is something you would be interested in, please read the task description, complete the request for further information, and return this to us. We will then arrange for one of our established local co-ordinators to give you an informal call to discuss in more detail what the role of local co-ordinator involves.
