Get on your bike for the BTF

Covid-19 has stopped many planned fundraising events in their tracks.  Like many UK charities, this has had a devastating effect on our income. To keep the wheels moving for charities, the My Prudential RideLondon is holding a free festival of cycling on 15-16 August. Whatever your age or ability, or wherever you live, you can join in. You don't even need a bike to take part!

We're inviting you to do your ride, your way for the BTF.

How do I set the wheels in motion?

Register with My Prudential RideLondon

Choose your challenge

Cycle rides - Choose from three different rides, covering either 19, 46 or 100 miles

Free Cycle - Select your non-motorised wheels of your choice (scooter, unicycle, tandem, skateboard etc.) and cover at least 1 km

These can take place wherever you live in the UK and are free to enter.

Set up your fundraising page. If you're using social media don't forget to use the hashtag #MyPRL and tag @britishthyroid (Twitter) @britishthyroidfoundation (Instagram and Facebook) to help spread the word.

From 10 August you can download the 'My Prudential RideLondon app' to track and log your ride. Your supporters can even track your progress in real-time by following you on the app.

Enjoy your success

Once you've finished your challenge and it's been tracked by the app, you can download and print your personalised finisher certificate. There are even selfie frames to create your own finisher photos of you 'virtually' riding down the Mall to the finish line

What are the rules?

How will your fundraising make a difference?
