I have an autoimmune disease which means my gland doesn’t produce these hormones correctly.

I have to take daily treatment to replace these hormones for the rest of my life and deal with a large onset of symptoms. The disease isn't curable. At the age of 22, learning all of this, I was extremely overwhelmed.

However, the support of the British Thyroid Foundation and all of their resources makes managing the disease so much easier. They are an unbiased and caring charity. Without them, I'd be lost.

Therefore, I'm raising money to help others who are newly diagnosed too or going through this disease.

One of the main reasons I'm doing this is because the disease affects my metabolism, joints and energy, so I want to push myself.

I'd appreciate any donations to support this wonderful cause!
