My 14-year-old daughter was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and is still awaiting further tests, it has been a confusing few months, as we now actually know it's been probably going on for a while. The symptoms are so similar to other illnesses and can be masked for a long time.

This has been a challenging few months with knowing little to nothing about the disease, so my hope is to raise awareness and support a charity that has and will continue to help others like our family.
