After this April's Glasgow kilt walk was cancelled due to the COVID-19 crisis, Robert still wanted to find a way to raise funds for the BTF, When the Hunter Foundation pledged to double any donations raised, Robert decided to ask friends and family to support him anyway. Thanks to their generosity, he was able to reach his original fundraising target. Robert explained: Both my mother and best friend have undergone surgery to remove their thyroids. I felt that before, during and after the operations there wasn't really much awareness of how it could affect them both immediately and going forward. So I wanted to raise funds to assist other people in the future to understand it a little better.

Robert raised £253.00 for the BTF
