Get involved Fundraise for us Harrys Fundraising page Donate I will be taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise money for the British Thyroid Foundation, a charity that is very close to my family’s heart. When our son Harry was just 11 days old, he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Receiving that news so soon after welcoming him into the world was a huge shock for both me and Keeley. Like any new parents, we were overwhelmed with worry and uncertainty about what the future would hold. Thankfully, due to early diagnosis through newborn screening and the treatment and support available, Harry has gone on to thrive. However, our experience opened our eyes to the challenges faced by families affected by thyroid conditions and the importance of awareness, education and ongoing support. By running the Manchester Marathon, I hope to raise both awareness and vital funds for the British Thyroid Foundation so they can continue supporting individuals and families living with thyroid disorders, while also helping to improve understanding of these conditions. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and will be hugely appreciated by our family. Thank you for your support and for helping me make every mile count for Harry and for everyone affected by thyroid conditions.
