About

Treatments for Graves’ disease usually involve antithyroid drugs or definitive treatment with either radioiodine ablation (RAI) or surgery. Whilst these treatments are largely successful, some people continue to struggle with uncontrolled thyroid levels, lingering symptoms and/or poorer quality of life.

In this recording you can watch our speakers' overview research into new treatments for Graves’ disease. They also explore how this research might change the way Graves’ disease is treated in the future and opportunities for patients to get involved in UK trials.
