NICE has published its new guideline on the diagnosis and management of thyroid cancer in people aged 16 and over. This aims to reduce variation in practice and increase the quality of care and survival for people with thyroid cancer.

It will also create greater transparency for patients and aid them in shared decision-making about their treatment and care.  

We were pleased to contribute to the consultation on behalf of patients and would like to thank our members who submitted their comments as part of this process.
