Thyroid disorders are rare in children and teenagers. So, it can often be difficult to meet others with the same condition.

In response to requests from several parents we will be holding an online support group for teenagers. The aim is to give them space to talk about how they feel, ask about the concerns they have and give them the opportunity to support one another with tips to manage living with a thyroid disorder.

The meet-up will be at 6 pm on Tuesday 11 July and will be led by Dr Catherine Peters, paediatric endocrinologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and Greta Lyons, thyroid nurse at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Please follow the link for further information and to register.
