Thyroid Eye Disease Early Warning Card

Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) is a condition in which the eye muscles, eye lids, tear glands and fatty tissue behind the eye become inflamed. It occurs in about 20% of people with Graves' disease and can also occur after treatment for Graves' disease. More rarely it can also occur in people when their thyroid is underactive or functioning normally. TED is also more common in smokers.

To help you and those around you recognise the symptoms of what can be a debilitating eye condition, we recommend you download this card and carry it with you.
