When Amanda was diagnosed with Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease nine years ago, she was struggling with weight loss, pain, fatigue and a goitre (neck swelling). She has not always found it easy following her thyroidectomy but feels grateful to have a much more active lifestyle now. To help raise awareness of the BTF and thyroid health, Amanda undertook an Alpine Challenge.
