International Thyroid Awareness Week

Did you know thyroid disorders affect both our physical and emotional health?

Sadly, the psychological symptoms of thyroid disorders are sometimes 'invisible'. This can lead to confusion and worry and can also make us feel isolated from those around us.

To help raise awareness of these very real symptoms, we've launched some brand new psychological support resources. Our new booklet 'Living with a thyroid condition: Looking after your psychological wellbeing' has been written by chartered psychologist, Dr Sue Jackson, to help you make sense of some of the feelings you may be experiencing. Sue also shares tips for how to deal with these psychological symptoms.

Help us spread the word

We want people to know how thyroid disorders can impact our emotional wellbeing. Please join us in our campaign to cast a #SpotlightOnThyroid by sharing our social posts through the week.

Simply use the hashtags #SpotlightOnThyroid and #ITAW22 to get this important message out.  Thank you
