Several members of Safiyah’s family live with a thyroid condition. She recently took on a 5k roller blade challenge to raise awareness. Her mum said: This fundraiser is deeply personal for my family. Many people don’t fully understand thyroid conditions or take them seriously. Yet the impact on daily life is real and profound. Thyroid
disease affects energy levels, mood, weight, heart function, and so much more. We hope to shine a light on this condition and contribute to a future where better treatments and a cure are possible one day.
