When my son Bryden was 7 days old a doctor performed a heel prick test in the hospital which led to Bryden being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. As we found out about Bryden’s condition very early it meant he got the treatment that was required, Bryden takes one tablet every morning and this ensures he can live a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life Bryden will be 2 in September and is thriving thanks to the help of Govan Children’s hospital.
