A group of self-named ‘Thyroid Warriors’ lived up to their reputation when they faced challenging weather conditions on their Aberdeen Kiltwalk.

Thyroid cancer survivor, Barbara, was joined by five family members on their 18-mile trek. These
included her husband and daughter, both of whom have hypothyroidism. To boost funds, the warriors held a bake sale, cupcake fundraiser and two of them shaved their heads.

The Thyroid Warriors raised £1,129 for us.
