Endocrine disrupting chemicals and thyroid function webinar

European Hormones Day is 24 April. One of the themes of the day is to raise awareness about endocrine-disrupting chemicals. These are used in packaging, pesticides and biocides, cosmetics and toys and are known to contribute to incidences of endocrine cancers, obesity, diabetes, thyroid disease and rising rates of infertility.

As a follow-up to European Hormones Day, we will be joined by a panel of international experts on 30 April to discuss endocrine-disrupting chemicals and their effect on thyroid health.

Our speaker will be Prof Elizabeth Pearce, Professor of Medicine, Boston. The session will be chaired by Marian Ludgate, Prof Emerita of Molecular Endocrinology, Cardiff.

There will be an opportunity to put your questions to our panel via the Q&A function. Our panel will do their best to answer as many questions as possible but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that there will be enough time to answer every question.

Please join us between 6 and 7 pm on Tuesday 30 April for our free-of-charge webinar.

Alternatively, if you cannot make the webinar on the day, we'll share the recording link shortly afterwards for you to watch in your own time.
