Get involved Fundraise for us Our fundraising events Cardiff Half Marathon 2024 Cardiff Half Marathon 2024 The 21st edition of the Principality Cardiff Half Marathon will take place on 6 October in 2024. Demand is at unprecedented levels after the success of our bumper 20th-anniversary edition in 2023 and a big increase in demand from overseas runners. The Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of the largest and most exciting road races in Europe. It is Wales’ largest mass-participation and multi-charity fundraising event and the second largest half in the UK. Its flat, fast course passes all the city’s most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre, and stunning Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators turn out to cheer on the runners in a city renowned for its sporting passion. Our charity places for the Cardiff Half Marathon are offered at a reduced rate of £30 registration fee and we just ask that you kindly pledge to raise a minimum of £350.00. How we can support you We'll be here with you all the way! As a BTF fundraiser, we'll help you to set up a fundraising page on our secure platform. We'll also send you a BTF running vest or T-shirt and lots of tips on how to boost your fundraising. And we can help you promote your fundraiser on social media.
