Amy recently cycled 100 miles over one month to raise money for our work. Her 19-month-old son was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at birth. A recent scan has revealed he was born without a thyroid.
Amy said: At such a young age he has to go through weekly blood tests. It’s horrible to watch him go through this and he will be on medication for the rest of his life. The challenge was hard, but it was for a great organisation. I am so proud for the BTF to have exceeded our fundraising target and to be able to do something to help.
